Here in New Plymouth we run several ADRA projects for the benefit of those in need.  We are grateful to have the assistance of BobbiAnn to help us run these projects.

SOUP KITCHEN
Our volunteers collect supplies of food from local businesses, such as Pak n Save, Brumbies, MuffinBreak, Spudz, as well as fresh vegetables from the ADRA gardens.  These are loaded onto our ADRA caravan and taken around to needy suburbs every Friday afternoon.  In the cooler months we also serve up hot soup.

NEW START GARDENS
Adjacent to the church and school is our ADRA gardens.  It provides employment for young people, and the garden produce is either sold in the shop, or given away to the needy on the weekly soup kitchen.

PACIFIKOHA
We have partnered with Mr D. Nunn to collect surplus hospital supplies, as well as educational equipment.  This is packed into containers and shipped to needy Pacific Island countries.  This year we are helping the Solomon Islands, the location of a devastating tsunami.

If you would like to assist these worthy projects, by a donation, or volunteering to assist, then please contact the ADRA office in the church building, or the church pastor.
